We know that you are sad now for the loss of the remaining parent who loved you all so much. You will honor her memory by teaching your children and grandchildren how she blended your families and how well she lived her life. We came to know your mother because we live next to Leslie. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a cowboy, and an advocate for better government. What a great legacy. May God bless and comfort each of you.

Posted by Michael Stone at September 20, 2005 12:33 PMDearest Leslie and your entire family -
Our hearts, along with our thoughts & prayers go out to you all. The passing of your mom was so sudden and unexpected, making it so much harder to accept. She was a remarkable person who loved you all so much and enjoyed being around you. There are so many people (and animals!) who considered her a friend, whose lives will never be the same without her. Have faith that the closeness of your wonderful family will help to get you through this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Lisa & Lenny Erquiza
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
Your mother's work for Dinwiddie County will be sorely missed.
She was a voice for those of us who were unable to express our concerns with the government of Dinwiddie.
I'm also sure her baking skills will be missed by all her customers.
To all members of Geri's family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Geri made a impact in this County on how goevernment should be and for them to be responsible to the public. I recall 5 years ago wittnessing her at a meeting. That inspire me to get more involved and be a part of the decision process that so affects us all. i believe geri's efforts protected many in this county from unwanted industry (Rock Quarry, predator prison)and many other things og public safety. Just a couple meetings ago she came to aid as I was being publiclly ridiculed, I will always remember that!
Sincerely,
Michael&Eva Bratschi
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
