I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I just found out Friday. The only day I didn't look at the newspaper her obituary was in it. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Your Friend, Barbara "Sissy Hester" Pride
Amy/Alan,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother passing. Your mother was a wonderful lady. We had some great times working together at Lee Park. She was such a hard worker. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your families.

Our prayers and love are with you all. I know you will miss Sue in so many ways and at different times, but remember the good times you had with her and the time you and your families were able to spend with her. Talk to each other about the good times and lean on each other for strenghth. I know she is now without pain or suffering and lives with God and your father. They both are now looking down on you and I believe will always be there with you in some respect in your lives. She was a very special lady and touched many lives, especially her family.
Our deepest sympathy and love,
Kellie, Keith, Michael, Andy and Chris Aldridge
I am saddened to hear of the loss of Cousin Becky Sue. I have fond memories of playing with her when I was a youth and would come to Bland to spend time with my family. Her father, Andrew, and my father, James(Big Jim) were brothers who had 8 other siblings. When our families congregated, the attendance was HUGE! I would play with all my cousins and, of course, enjoy all the food that was laid out for the gathering.
I remember Becky Sue as being a very cheerful and positive person who was very outgoing. I am sure that she was a wonderful mother.
To her children and grandchildren I say---remember her fondly, as she was a wonderful person.
For your information, I recently completed a history of the Charles P. Muncy, Sr., family and presented it to the attendees of the Muncy family reunion this past July 23rd. A copy is available by contacting me at tommuncy@yahoo.com
Amy and Delane, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Posted by Jesse Adams at September 20, 2005 04:39 PMTo Sue's Children and Grandchildren,
Our sincerest sympathies to the entire family. Sue was such a wonderful, kind ang loving little lady. We met while I worked at the Carriage House Florist in Petersburg, where she was a very regular customer. She loved her family very much & she especially missed her beloved husband and I will never forget the number 7 as it was always an important number to her. Her children and grandchildren were very special and she spoke of them everytime we saw her. She enjoyed her work, but family was always her first love. I have thought of her so much, but wasn't sure where she went after the golf course closed. She will have a special place in our hearts as she was sure to brighten even the darkest days with her smile and words of kindness.
May God comfort each of you & surround you with His love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you all and remember the good times, as memories keep our loved ones close.
In Christian Love,
