Leslie and Sissy
Your mom played a major role in my childhood. She was one of Mama's best friends, my Brownie Scout Leader, my Girl Scout leader, my Sunday school teacher, my Bible school teacher and my role model. She did the reception at my wedding, she was at my parents funerals, she took us sleigh riding down Strawberry Hill, she visited me during my first year in college. As Calvin said, Woodlawn was a great place to grow up and your mom was a big part of why it was so.

Dale & Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, I know this time will be tuff on you. Dale I will miss seeing you and your Mom when I go by her room to see Dad.
You have been a wonderful daughter caring for your Mom the way you did, I know the feeling and you have been at it much longer than I have. Your
Mom was a very couragous women to hold on for so long, but now she is healed from all her pain. In a way, they become like little children depending us like we depended on them when we were small. Your love has shown so bright, your memories will never fade.
Love & God Bless, Kathy

Leslie and Sissy, so sorry to hear of your loss. Not many are left of those who were our parents when we were kids in the community and the church. Woodlawn was a great place to grow up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Les,
I am so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all the good memories will help ease the pain of your loss. I lost my mom 25 years ago at the age of 46. It's never easy to let them go but it does get easier as time passes. She will never truly be gone because she will live on in your heart.
